Transit debate in this city is really getting silly

Really, this is where finch ave W is within that BIA that wants to block the LRT from going there. You can’t even pretend that any construction would harm any business, since there is hardly any on this part of finch.

This is an excellent article, notes many historical points about Metro Toronto, and why things are the way they are. If you grew up in Metro Toronto, no doubt you would’ve heard about these things from your parents or neighbors, as I have. Frankly, it makes me sad how complacent the populous is, and how inept the officials we elect are and have been. I do not mean to over generalize, but our “world class” city should be more world class than it is now.

I digress, read the article, it says more than I could here. Also, fuck would it be nice to be able to go downtown and work, or drink, or see people, without spending over an hour on the TTC. I live in West Scarborough it isn’t that far.
